Apparently Chris is more for the "bromance" than Chase is at first. Since spoilers about the third episode reveal that Chase is going to be dealing with a broken heart, perhaps a new bromance with Chris will be what he needs to open up. However, there's also a shot of Chase in the One Tree Hill season 9 premiere sneak peek (below) being put into a police car, and in that same clip, Chris Keller is hanging out with Dan and guns, so maybe this isn't necessarily going to be putting Chase on a good path. So it sounds like even though he's still talking in the third person (as seen in the clip), he is a bit different. I think she's annoyed that there's someone in her life that she had an indiscretion with in her marriage." However, in the ninth season, Haley's going to be focused on much more important matters than her past with Chris Keller.
