They say everyone has a look-a-like, so which celebrities do our Kiwi celebs resemble?
Ever wondered if your face has star power? There are a few different sites you can use to compare your face to the famous and find your long lost celebrity twin, just by uploading a photo.
Sites such as My Heritage and PicItUp use face recognition technology to compare your features to a celebrity database.
For our experiment we tested out Face Double to see if any of our Kiwi celebs could stand in as body doubles for their richer and more famous counterparts.

Colin Mathura-Jeffree
Host of two series’ with officially the longest titles in New Zealand television, 'New Zealand’s Next Top Model' and 'Chelsea New Zealand’s Hottest Home Baker', a very youthful looking Colin Mathura-Jeffree has been identified as most facially similar to Jesse Bradford, star of cheerleader comedy 'Bring It On', and not much else.
We can see the resemblance from the nose down, but Jesse probably won’t be the frontrunner for the role of Colin Mathura-Jeffree in his biopic, unless he grows out that hair or gets fitted for a wig.
Runners up as Colin’s face double are Eric Balfour (24), Hugh Dancy (Adam), David Beckham, Adrian Pasdar from 'Heroes', (whose animal double would be an Afghan hound), Nick Cannon (America’s Got Talent and Mr. Mariah Carey), Jeremy Piven (Entourage) and Brandon Davis (greasy oil heir and originator of Lindsay Lohan insult, "Firecrotch")

Ali Mau
New Zealand’s own Justice League crusader Ali Mau bears the greatest resemblance to Melinda Clarke from 'The O.C' and we think it’s a pretty good match. Throw a blonde wig on Melinda Clarke and she could step in for Ali on 'Fair Go'.
Ali is also facially similar to glamorous Oompa-Loompa compound escapee and talk show host Kelly Ripa, Sienna Miller, Camryn Manheim (Boston Public), Courtney Love (it must be the hair), Jennifer Beals (The L Word), pre-Warren Beatty Annette Bening and Faith Ford (Murphy Brown).

Petra Bagust
The smiles are quite similar but Petra’s eyes are actually visible without the aid of the Hubble telescope, unlike Drew Barrymore’s miniscule orbs, (also commonly known as Renee Zellweger syndrome, or to use the medical term "wee holes in the snow").
Before anyone moans about cruelty to small-eyed celebrities, as someone similarly afflicted with tiny, piggy eyes I’m allowed to point and laugh. It’s the law! According to a Stotts correspondence course I did not do. I am also legally entitled to make fun of people who still have their wisdom teeth. Oh how I mock your swollen gums. Not so wise now are we?
Petra’s back up face doubles are Jessica Biel (The A-Team), Jennifer Connelly (A Beautiful Mind), Rosario Dawson (Zookeeper), model Kathy Ireland, Daneel Harris (One Tree Hill), Elizabeth Mitchell (Lost) and Rochelle Aytes (Desperate Housewives).

Rachel Hunter
Our Rach proves she’s a unique beauty by face doubling as herself! The 'New Zealand’s Got Talent' judge obviously has a talent for standing out from the crowd with just the one result for a facial celebrity match.

Tamati Coffey
The forehead, eyebrows, and face shape of Tamati Coffey vaguely match that of Fantastic Four’s bendy Welshman Ioan Gruffud, however we can’t see any similarity between the 'New Zealand’s Got Talent' host and Austin Powers hobgoblin Seth Green.
Tamati’s wide array of face doubles also includes Adam Brody (The O.C), Enrique Murciano (Without A Trace), Marc Blucas (Necessary Roughness), Michael Copon (One Tree Hill), Kevin Zegers (Gossip Girl) and Jon Cryer (Pretty In Pink. We know he’s better known for 'Two And A Half Men' now, but he’ll always be Duckie to us.)

John Campbell
TV3’s Campbell Live host John Campbell is apparently a dead-ringer for Tiger Woods, but only a small portion of his face. When we tried to upload a picture just of John’s face we were told 'no matches found'.
It’s hard to pick the similarity, except that they’re both men and their features are assembled in the same sequence.
Other facial duplicates for John include David Duchovny (Californication), George Clooney, Joey Fatone of N’Sync and your scary next-door-neighbour who can open a can of baked beans with his teeth and has a German Shepherd called Kaiser. Actually that’s director Luc Besson (The Fifth Element).
Meanwhile, Rove tweeted that his iPhoto facial recognition feature identified him as John...hmm not so sure about that one either.

Mark Sainsbury
Mark Sainsbury has drawn David Boreanz (Bones) in the doppelganger lottery. Their mouths are sort of similar and they both have rather large-ish heads, but other than that we’re struggling to see the likeness.
New Zealand’s most famous human walrus shares a love of facial hair with fellow marine mammal doppelganger, baby fur seal look-a-like George Lucas.
Sainso’s doubles include John Schneider (Smallville, The Dukes Of Hazard), David Arquette (Scream) and one of the Baldwin’s that isn’t Alec (it’s William, formerly known as Billy).
What do you think of the comparisons?
