Barry Gibb of the Bee Gees is to play at next year's Mission Concert in the Hawke's Bay.

Carole King will also join Gibb on stage at the show at the Mission Estate winery on Saturday, February 23.

The annual concert has been held since 1993 and has become a highlight of New Zealand's summer festivities.

Acts in recent years have included Rod Stewart, Sting, Tom Jones and Eric Clapton.
