Swedish pop music duo Roxette have been forced to cancel their Auckland show this Saturday.
In a statement, promoters said the concert at Vector Arena had to be shelved after Per Gessle fell ill during his flight from Stockholm to Auckland.
Gessle has been forced to rest for several days before carrying on with the rest of Roxette's tour.
"Despite the best efforts of all involved with the tour, it has not been possible to schedule an alternative date for the Auckland show within the already demanding tour schedule," promoters said.
Roxette will resume their tour in Brisbane next week.
Those with tickets to the Auckland show will receive refunds.
