I know it starting to sound like a cliche when you start pulling out the 'major city x has the best y in the world' calls constantly. and I feel like I've done it a few times in these entries. But yes, Paris does have some of the best nightlife in the world.
You would expect that of course - but what makes Paris so damn awesome is the combination of cool clubs, sophisticated music tastes, and the most fashionable club kids ever.
I made a lot of new Parisian friends, and went out in any given opportunity. But what I found so shocking at first was that so many of these well-educated, well-dressed young people had never actually left France. But after spending a week here I realised that you didn't need to go anywhere. It really is the best city in the world.
Do you want some beach vibes? Head down south! Do you like snow? We got that too! Do you want to be culturally enriched? Here, let me show you a couple of things. And most of all, do you want a late night listening to some of the most awesome music, with the most electric vibe you've ever witnessed? Come with me.
Now, in my years I've been lucky enough to visit some of the best clubs and hear some of the best DJs - but I got to say 'The Social Club' in Montmarte was like nothing else. It was like a rock show at a dance gig - completed with dance floor pogo insanity, stage diving ahoy and some of the best club music the world could offer. I'm getting all teary-eyed and nostalgic just thinking about that night.

This is one of the oldest and most respected clubs in Paris and it has been responsible for pushing the most cutting-edge in sounds since 1992.
Nouveau Casino - http://www.nouveaucasino.net/This venue is in the famous Oberkampf Street which is known for its many bars. And out of all of the clubs I visited Nouveau Casino seems to have the most eclectic yet forward thinking music policy. Good times! And a really cool crowd.

In summertime heading for a night out in Paris is a real treat, especially with all the nightclub on-a-boat action you can happily help yourself to on the river Seine. Le Batofar is the originator in the trend.
