'The Voice': How Is Amber Carrington Feeling After Getting The Boot?
Things get legal for John Travolta, Reese Witherspoon's low-key family hit the headlines with some soap opera style goings on, and could those rumours of a Desperate Housewives hate-fest have been true all along?
It's been a busy week for John Travolta's camp as the actor has been forced to deny multiple allegations of sexual harassment and assault.
Three separate men have come forward and filed lawsuits against the star of Grease and Pulp Fiction, 58, claiming Travolta pestered each of them for sex.
The first case, filed last Friday in California by a plaintiff known only as John Doe, has already had doubt cast upon it after Travolta's people proved the actor was in New York City, not California, on January 16, the date he was alleged to have exposed himself and groped the masseur's crotch.
A lawyer for the complainant now says the date filed was a 'miscalculation'.
A second plaintiff came forward later in the week and accused the actor of 'improper behaviour' during a massage at an Atlanta, Georgia resort. Travolta was in the area at the time working on a movie.
"This second 'anonymous' claim is just as absurd and ridiculous as the first one," said Travolta's lawyer Marty Singer. "The attorney who filed the lawsuit on behalf of his second anonymous client, who does not want to disclose his name although he is required to do so, was notified that his first client's claims were totally false and fabricated, since our client was not in L.A. when anonymous 'Doe #1' claims he interacted with John Travolta."
Both masseurs are being represented by lawyer Okorie Okorocha and are seeking NZ$2.5m each in damages.
"There's a bunch of accusers against Travolta who have similar accusations," says Okorocha. "Many have contacted me, and I'm still vetting their stories. More defendants might come forward soon."
The plaintiffs are seeking $2 million in damages each.
Later in the week Chilean cruise ship worker Fabian Zanzi also accused Travolta of sexual harassment, although it is not certain if he has taken his claims to court.
Zanzi told South American press he was a VIP liaison on a Royal Caribbean cruise ship in 2009 when approached by the actor, who allegedly offered him US$12,000 for sex.
"He had something on his neck. I thought it was a fuzz. As I approached, he took off his white coat and was naked," Zanzi claims.
"He hugged me and asked me to do a massage."
Travolta has long been followed by rumours of homosexuality despite being married to actress Kelly Preston for 21 years.

Reese Witherspoon's mother has made headlines of her own this week, filing a lawsuit accusing the actress' father of bigamy.
Betty Witherspoon claims her estranged husband John, 70, married another woman in January despite still being married to her, and that the new 'Mrs Witherspoon' is misusing the family name.
Mrs Witherspoon has been awarded a restraining order against Tricianne Taylor, which states 'You are hereby enjoined and restrained from using or attempting to use the last name Witherspoon for any purpose.'
'You are further enjoined and restrained from obtaining credit or attempting to obtain credit posing as the wife of Dr John Draper Witherspoon.
'You are further enjoined and restrained from taking, sequestering, or converting any personal property owned by Dr John Draper Witherspoon, or acquired by him at any time,' states the document.
Betty Witherspoon claims her doctor husband is suffering from dementia and has a drinking problem, and says he has no recollection of tying the knot with Ms Taylor earlier this year.
"When I confronted my husband, he said he didn't know who Tricianne Taylor was and that he did not remember getting married," said Mrs Witherspoon in her affidavit.
She claims her husband and Taylor are living together in a home owned by Oscar-winning actress Reese and that she fears for his safety in his current state.
Taylor was not invited to Reese Witherspoon's wedding to Jim Toth in March 2011.

Eva Longoria put on her brightest actress smile and publicly denied all reports of friction between the cast of newly ended TV show Desperate Housewives this week.
The female stars of the long-running show, which recently wrapped up production after eight years, have long been rumoured not to get along. Fuel was added to the fire this week when photos emerged of a gift the cast gave crew as the series wrapped up - which omitted Teri Hatcher's name from the card.
'Just know that on all your future adventures you are carrying a little piece of our love and gratitude. Thank you for a magical 8 years. Love Eva, Marcia, Felicity and Vanessa.'
Eva Longoria, Marcia Cross and Felicity Huffman were part of the show's cast since its inception, while Vanessa Williams had been part of the cast for the past two seasons.
"We all get along," Longoria told David Letterman when the TV host quizzed her on the rumours this week, but didn't explain Hatcher's omission from their gift.
"The girls don't get along with Teri so they organised this and left her out," an on-set source told the US press.
Hatcher, 47, has long been reported to be unpopular with her co-stars, with former Desperate Housewives actor Nicolette Sheridan referring to the actress as the 'meanest woman in the world.'

Despite the best efforts of press to call time on Johnny Depp's 14-year relationship with Vanessa Paradis, the actor denied this week that the couple has broken up.
"The rumors are not true. They are absolutely not true," Depp told press on the London red carpet for his new film, Dark Shadows.
Reports of the couple's demise gained traction since Depp and Paradis haven't been seen in public together this year and because the French actress-singer hasn't appeared on a red carpet with her beau in 18 months.
"No matter what I say about this, people believe the opposite," Depp told press on Wednesday, the first time he has publicly addressed the reports. "I can't say enough about it not being over."
"There's no truth anymore,” the actor added. "It doesn't matter what I say to you right now, it doesn't make any difference."
Depp and Paradis got together in 1998 after the actor's split from ex-fiancee Kate Moss. The couple are parents to daughter Lily-Rose, 12, and son Jack, nine.
