Ex-wives and former nannies cause legal trouble for a couple of celebs, while one skirts around gay rumours and another may have a genetically blessed baby on the way.
Sounds like the title of Usher's album Raymond v. Raymond is getting all too real. The superstar performer and his ex-wife Tameka Foster are locked in a custody battle over their two young sons and this week testimony started to get nasty.
Foster's lawyer quizzed Usher on his drug use in a Georgia court where the singer admitted to smoking marijuana, denied using Ecstasy and skirted around the issue of whether his young sons had ever seen him under the influence of drugs. He was also accused of being a bad father, with his ex's camp claiming the star would rather be at a nightclub than with sons Usher V, aged four, and Naviyd, three.
During cross-examination this week the star was accused of sleeping with one of his ex's pals. Maya Fox Davies was a bridesmaid for Tameka at the couple's 2007 wedding, and later worked for the Raymonds as a nanny.
Foster's lawyer asked Usher if Ms Davies had left their employment 'because you were discovered in bed with [her].'
For his part, Usher described his ex's violent tendencies and several incidents where her temper had publicly got the better of her.
The court in Fulton County, Georgia heard that Foster emerged from her home 'ready to fight' when Usher arrived at the house with a new girlfriend.
According to the star Foster shouted at the woman: "I'm gonna kick your ass. Bitch get out of the car. How dare you bring this woman into my subdivision in my house."
He went on: "She continued to spit. At this point she pulled the door open, tried to swing at her."
Usher alleged Foster struck him when he tried to intervene, and threw a plate of food at the car as the couple drove off.
Usher and Tameka's marriage lasted less than two years after the then-mother of three left her husband Ryan Glover for the superstar. The couple split in mid-2009, just months after Tameka suffered a near-fatal cardiac arrest in Sao Paolo, Brazil, while being prepped for liposuction.
Usher is suing for increased visitation rights to his two young sons, while his ex-wife wants to maintain full custody of the boys. The case is due back in court in July.

Sharon Stone is another star facing legal woes this week, with a former nanny suing the actress for unfair dismissal.
Erlinda Elemen claims Stone fought against paying her overtime and insulted her Filipino heritage, referring to all Filipinos as 'stupid people', insulting their cuisine and instructing Elemen not to speak to her three sons while caring for them so the boys wouldn't 'talk like you'.
Stone has three sons - Roan, adopted while the star was married to newspaper editor Phil Bronstein; and Laird and Quinn, adopted by the actress as a single mother.
"A common problem for employees in household occupations concerns the receipt of overtime and other wages. When a celebrity does it, it only serves to draw attention to the fact that there are thousands of people who are being underpaid. Hopefully, the publicity generated from this lawsuit will be of benefit to others and will prompt some change in the lives of ordinary citizens," Elemen's lawyer Solomon Gresen told press this week.
"It's unfortunate when a California employee has to endure harassment, particularly a live-in employee who has little power to avoid the behaviour."
Stone's rep dismissed the nanny as nothing more than a 'disgruntled' former employee. "She is obviously looking for another opportunity to cash in. This is a frivolous lawsuit for absurd claims that are made-up and fabricated. Sharon Stone will be completely vindicated in court."

Former Cosby Show actress Raven-Symone has spoken out on reports of her sexuality without actually saying much at all.
The National Enquirer reported last week that the actress, 26, has set up home in New York City with her girlfriend AzMarie Livingston, a contestant on America's Next Top Model.
Raven took to Twitter after the report, telling followers: "I'm living my PERSONAL life the way I'm happiest. I'm not one, in my 25 year career to disclose who I'm dating. and I shall not start now. My sexual orientation is mine, and the person I'm datings to know. I'm not one for a public display of my life."
"However that is my right as a HUMAN BEing whether straight or gay," she Tweeted. "To tell or not to tell. As long as I'm not harming anyone. I am a light being made from love. And my career is the only thing I would like to put on display, not my personal life. Kisses!"
The star shot to fame as the adorable Olivia on The Cosby Show in the late 80s before building a career as a Disney actress and singer.

Supermodel Gisele Bundchen may be pregnant with her second child if the latest whispers from Brazil are to be believed.
Bundchen is reportedly two months along with footballer husband Tom Brady's baby and has informed family, close friends and work associates of the happy news.
While the model's rep has refused to comment on the reports, a Brazilian newspaper says dressers at recent events apparently noticed changes in Gisele's body.
The couple are parents to two-year-old son Benjamin, while Brady also has a four-year-old son, John, with his ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan.
Gisele's comments on motherhood have made her a controversial figure since she gave birth to Benjamin in December 2009. After telling press natural childbirth 'didn't hurt a bit', the model publicly declared all women who gained more than 30 pounds (around 13.5 kilos) during their pregnancy must have eaten like 'garbage disposals'.
She also told press she believed there should be a 'worldwide law' forcing women to breastfeed their babies for at least six months.
