Reports claim that a clearly identifiable photo of the pair will fetch around US$100,000 - second at the moment only to the amount that a snap of Brad, Angelina, and the six kiddies in tow will collect.
TMZ.com has run a couple of pictures of the pair getting on a private plane in Miami and disembarking in Los Angeles, but they're grainy and while the pair are in the same place, they aren't actually in the same frame.
The superstar couple parted under sensationally bad circumstances when 19-year-old Chris was arrested on suspicion of assaulting his Barbados-born girlfriend in early February. He fled home to Virginia (and released a notoriously weak apology), Rihanna laid low in LA, Barbados and Mexico.
The photo released of the 21-year-old's facial injuries after the argument with her R&B singer boyfriend shocked even the jaded world of celebrity gossip. The pic spoke for itself - the real, brutal, and scary face of domestic violence.
Last week, it was reported that the couple are back together, sharing each other's company away from the spotlight at Diddy's Star Island mansion near Miami Beach. Well, Rihanna stayed away from the spotlight. Strangely, for someone who potentially faces charges of domestic violence and making criminal threats (for telling Rihanna ‘I'm going to kill you') Chris Brown seemed in quite a happy go lucky sort of mood.
Plenty of snaps have emerged of him frolicking in front of the paparazzi on a jetski, seemingly without a care in the world. Or does he just think he has nothing to be sorry for?
Let's hope these two don't end up the Ike and Tina Turner of our generation.
More shocking is that Rihanna's dad Ronald Fenty supports his daughter's decision to get back with Chris.
"Whatever road she chooses, I'm behind her," he told People earlier this week.
Even at the risk of your daughter's health and wellbeing? Idiot.
Thankfully TMZ reports that California law allows prosecutors to charge an individual with domestic violence even if the couple reunites, and apparently with the photographic evidence very publicly at hand ‘it's going to be a tough call not to prosecute Brown.'
Charges or no charges, I hope his career is knackered. And don't give me that everyone makes mistakes, she-deserved-it-because-she-threw-the-car-keys-out-the-window muck. No company is going to want their product promoted by a wifebeater. Alleged wifebeater, yes, yes, I know.
Would you let your kids or younger brothers or sisters by the albums of someone who beats his partner? Or would you be happy looking up to someone who went back to a violent relationship?
Mind you Mickey Rourke, who faced the same while married to ex-wife Carre Otis in the nineties, has made his comeback. It seems Hollywood can forget when it wants to.
Rihanna is liked and respected by a lot of influential people in the music industry, and Chris Brown has just permanently burned himself a lot of bridges.
Police are due to hand over the case to the Los Angeles District Attorney's office next week, where the decision will be made about filing charges against the young singer.
The beehive's back in town
Watch out, north London! Amy Winehouse is back in town, and girl has her beehive strapped back on with a vengeance.
Wino finally ended her Caribbean holiday on Sunday after two months of writing music, chilling out and partaking of nothing more toxic than a few drinks and some weed - child's play by Amy's drug-taking standards.
Jetting back into a gloomy Gatwick airport and the reality of a London winter must have been a rather depressing thought, and Amy was on edge during the flight back to England. The star's temper got the better of her at one point, starting an argument with a nearby passenger because she though he was giving her ‘strange looks.'
Still, she was glad to be home.
"I love London more than anything in the world," declared the star as she walked through the airport terminal.
So will the return of the beehive, the skinny jeans and the dirty ballet pumps mean a regression to Amy's wild days of old? Not if the singer has anything to do with it.
The singer was so determined to move out of her Camden pad, the setting for most of her marriage to Blake Fielder-Civil and her years of drug use, that Amy enlisted the help of her mum, Janis, to find her a new home while she hung out on the island of St Lucia.
And Janis has done just that, locating Amy a four-bedroom townhouse in the north London suburb of Barnet. One point four million quid's worth.
I bet the neighbours are thrilled.
Amy's determined to leave her crackhead past - and husband Blake - well and truly behind her. The latest on him? He's out of prison, again. His mother's badmouthing Wino to the press, again. And he's rejected his wife's 100,000 pound take-it-or-leave-it divorce settlement.
This split could get ugly! But it could also be great fodder for Amy's new record.
Good luck, Britney!
Best of luck to Britney Spears whose North American Circus tour kicks off today (NZ time) in her almost-home town of New Orleans. After the couple of years she's had I reckon Brit Brit could do with all the good vibes sent her way that she can get.
Click here to see a sneak preview of what Brit's new show has to offer. Not liking pop music I've never been a big fan of Britney musically, but this extravaganza - complete with circus performers, belly dancing, cages, swings and acrobatics - looks amazing.
As does she! Those rumoured four-hour daily workouts have done the trick. The girl is back in fighting form and looking good - so much so that she's just been named as the new face of Candies clothing.

1. There is no proof that Rhianna and Chris were catching the same plane on the same day. Proof: not photographed together in the same photo frame. Also where is the date on the photos. This is not unusual plays for gossip mags.
3. The photo has not been confirmed that it is Rhianna. It looks like it could be any person. Notice how in the photo her eyes are closed.
And once again Anna cheers babe.
