Hats off for Bill Nighy

Bill Nighy would rather "kill himself" than wear a baseball cap.

The 'Love Actually' star insists he never feels the need to disguise himself to avoid being recognised, and insists he is too old to start hiding himself under headwear.

He said: "I'm not wearing a beanie. I'm too old for a beanie. I don't know what the cut-off age is for a beanie but it's a long time ago as far as I'm concerned.

"Or a baseball cap? No, I'd have to kill myself. There's no need. Because everything is fine and the degree of notoriety I have is fine and easy."

The 59-year-old actor also admits he is sometimes taken by surprise by the aging process.

He added: "You get older and you see yourself and say, 'God, he's old, who's that?' "
