First Rolling Stone, now Ebony

By Splash US Presidential hopeful Barack Obama has been named one of the '25 Coolest Brothers Of All Time' by American magazine, Ebony.

The presumptive Democratic nominee joins the likes of rockers Jimi Hendrix and Lenny Kravitz, actors Sidney Poitier and Denzel Washington Jr., and boxer Muhammad Ali in the list.

The magazine says of 46-year-old Illinois senator, Obama: "That a Brother is running for president of the United States and being embraced by millions of people for who he is. That's cool. Even in the murk of politics Barack Obama genuinely loves his wife, his family and his country. Watching real love live; that's cool."

The August 2008 issue of self-styled 'African American' magazine Ebony is on newsstands now.
