Little Britain boys keep it in the family

Comedian David Walliams showed he likes to keep it in the family - by flirting with Dame Edna Everage and snogging her daughter.

Cheeky Walliams cheered up the moody Valmai with some lip-lock action during a guest appearance on her mum's chat show.

Then he told the Dame: "Can I say, you're a lot more attractive in real life than on the television."

She retorted: "You can swim my channel any time you like."

Walliams revealed what kept him going during his fund-raising swim across the English Channel. He said: "All I had was my favourite songs going round in my head. Abba, Pet Shop Boys and I thought about women that I really liked as well."

Walliams also admitted that he flirted with Prime Minister Tony Blair when he met him, admitting: "He's a good looking man."

Walliams appeared on the show with his comedy partner Matt Lucas, who talked about his time at posh school Haberdashers' Aske's Boys' School.

He said: "Weirdly I was at school with Sacha Baron Cohen, he was about three years above me and about three or four years above him was David Baddiel.

But he insisted he wasn't bullied despite his appearance. He said: "I was an overweight child, I had no hair, my hair fell out when I was six, gay, don't forget the gay."

The pair also turned the tables and interviewed their host, with Lucas asking the Dame if the rumours were true that her son Kenny was gay.

She quipped back: "I'm confident that my son is as normal as you are.

"He is looking for Miss Right. Now he looks in some rather peculiar places but he's not in a hurry.

"Now I think wedding bells could toll one day, I hope they do."
